*Official Program for the Blue Flag in Educational Centers
Sponsored by the Tropical Sierra Foundation, the radio program "The Friends of the Forest" started. The conductors, Mariano Rodriguez, journalist, and Samantha Kennedy, biologists, said that "we'll have environmental issues and materials from the Blue Flag Ecological Program for Educational Centers. We are seeking a bounding in minds and positive actions that become part of daily culture and not a fashion."

The Ecological Blue Flag Program for Educational Centers is an initiative of people as Yolanda Pacheco who participated in the first radio broadcast of the Friends of Forest. "The Ecological Blue Flag For Educational Centers is a way to make real the Environmental Strategic Program from the Educational Ministry. We want actions to take care of the environment, involving students, professors, parents, and the community so they can work every day taking care of the environment".
Mr. Foy Streetman the founder of the Tropical Sierra Foundation said that "there has always been a link between the Tropical Sierra Foundation and The Ecological Blue Flag Program, because we both seek to promote the environmental education. That is why we should work together for the objectives that we want to accomplish. Juancito Tropical is the spokesman for the forest. When I saw this little frog I thought that the tropical forest didn't have a spokesman as the forest in USA that have a bear. I thought it was ideal that the frog could be the spokes man of the forest." The male frog, Juancito Tropical, will cheer with his spirit this new way of communication.
